I earned a BFA in Studio Art from Cortland State College. Later study in painting and figure drawing was done at Syracuse University. I have done commissioned portraits, landscape paintings and illustration work for the Syracuse Chiefs, Stamford Science & Nature Museum, Prometheus Book Publishers and many others.

The bulk of my work is done on location – en plein air – to capture the immediate impression of color and light. Unfinished works are completed from memory and/or sketches in my studio.

I am represented by Alden Gallery in Provincetown, MA, Novado Gallery in Jersey City, NJ, Exhibit A in Corning, NY and Art Dialogue in Buffalo, NY. My work is in many private collections, as well as Upstate Cancer Center in Syracuse and Oswego. My studio is located in Delavan Studios in Syracuse, New York.
